any other worship. The service uses a giant screen PowerPoint presentation for prayers and music instead of a prayer book and hymnal.
All of this combined, the Living Grace service offers a more relaxed atmosphere and a powerful worship experience. A newcomer need not be concerned about following the service because everything is right before them on the giant screen. The service is easy to follow, even if you’ve never been to church before! Yet, at the same time, it also maintains the same high standards of traditional church worship service.
The Living Grace service is held in the church parish hall, where the congregation holds the Rhythm & Brews Coffeehouse once a month, a music outreach ministry for young people in Little Rock. This is the building located behind the basketball goal. Coffee and drinks are available before, during, and after the service. We usually have snacks after worship, spending time in fellowship.
Both worship services teach the same truths about God that Christians have understood for almost 2,000 years. The entire worship service is 70% directly quoted, 20% paraphrased, and 10% taken from the teachings of the Bible. This keeps our faith certain and Biblical. A famous Biblical scholar once stated, “What we pray is what we believe.”
